Driven to Abstraction opens this Thursday

Join me this Thursday for the opening reception of Driven to Abstraction, a group show at the Umbrella Community Arts Center in Concord, MA. Three pieces from my newest series, Fisherman's Woman, will be on display alongside works from other artists across the country.
Driven to Abstraction features 52 unique 2D and 3D abstract works by 43 artists, calling attention to the range of techniques and media used by artists who work outside the figurative realm. Pieces by resident artists from The Umbrella and selected artists from as far as Chicago will be on display from January 7 to February 23. Dana Salvo, owner of Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA and a nationally recognized photographer, served as the show’s juror.
