Aerial view

firmament series: aerial view; 7.5 x 8.5 inches; charcoal on paper

  Thinking about the Firmament series, I took a chance and changed the viewpoint creating two images from an aerial perspective.  In doing this I am referencing topographical imagery; and this drawing in particular seems to be about more than just the land - crevices and folds in the human body perhaps.  I have left this brainstorm behind in favor of the emanation image that I posted on October 2nd.
