I am moving forward with my plan to combine color and collage in a series of 18" square paintings that seek to represent the sky. I am not concerned so much with creating a realistic space, but rather with trying to explore the composition and push the colors and textures while retaining a good structure and cohesiveness. I think this effort was pretty successful!
