i like the stalk vertically oriented, but that's more because i like that leaf anchor to the left border. the tic marks are a wonderful playful element.this seems to be quite a pivot for you. no pun intended.

I was cropping the photo of this when I noticed I liked the drawing oriented both ways. The jury is still out. Any advice?
